Who we are

Tommy in Colombia is a travel concierge brand operated by ShelbyCo, in partnership with FSIT Solutions LLC for technical infrastructure. We help travelers plan, book, and experience trips to Colombia.

What we collect

Contact info you give us (name, email, WhatsApp number, preferred language)
Trip details (dates, group size, interests, destination cities)
Booking + payment data (via BOLD.co — we receive confirmations, not card details)
Technical data (IP, browser, pages visited) for security and analytics
Messages you send us through our concierge form or WhatsApp

How we use it

To plan and deliver your trip
To send booking confirmations, trip reminders, and safety updates
To improve our services and tour offerings
To comply with Colombian tourism law (RNT) and tax obligations (DIAN)

Who we share with

BOLD.co — payment processing
Local partners (drivers, restaurants, tour operators) — only the info they need to serve you
FSIT Solutions LLC — technical hosting (database, email, workflow automation)
Government authorities — if required by Colombian law

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your WhatsApp messages with third parties beyond Tommy in Colombia staff.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Contact us via the concierge form or email.

For EU residents: GDPR applies. For Brazilian residents: LGPD applies. For Colombian residents: Ley 1581 de 2012.

Data retention

Trip data: kept for 5 years for tax/accounting compliance. Contact info: kept until you ask us to delete it. Location data (if using optional tracking wristbands): kept for 90 days then automatically deleted.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies for site functionality (admin login, language preference). If we add analytics tools, we'll use privacy-friendly ones like Plausible that don't require consent banners.
